Alastair Henderson heads Herbert Smith Freehills’ arbitration practice in Southeast Asia. He is ranked among the leading arbitration lawyers in Asia and is one of the region’s best-known names in this field. Alastair has been based in Southeast Asia for nearly 25 years, including 9 in Bangkok and 15 in Singapore. He represents clients in complex claims and disputes all over the world and he is deeply familiar with arbitration and dispute resolution throughout Southeast Asia and beyond. He handles cases from many sectors and industries including construction, infrastructure, transport, power, energy and natural resources projects and related financing and shareholder structures; international commercial contract and joint venture disputes; cross-border trading and investment disputes; and specialist areas of international law.
